  Let's address some core issues:

  • Learn how to improve your core strength which will minimize strain on your low back during daily activities or any of the fun activities you enjoy.

  • Addresses factors that contribute to low back pain or injury.

  • Don’t let those normal degenerative changes, such as disc bulges or degeneration (see below), distract you from the life you love!

  • All you need is about 10 or 15 minutes per day and a resistance band!

Did you know?

In one research experiment, over 70% of people in their 20’s had disc bulges in their neck- and none had neck pain!  Even healthy people have strange things on their MRI, but it doesn’t mean surgery is required or even that those “abnormal” findings are all that “abnormal”. (Nakashima et al. Spine. 2015 March)

Another study found that up to 70% of asymptomatic shoulders had a superior labral tear (tear in the joint capsule).  Again, that means that 70% of people between 40 and 60 years of age have these “tears” and do not know it.  We should realize that some imaging findings may be normal age-related findings.

Did you know?

A research study took MRI’s of people that didn’t have any back pain, and found… 37% of 20 year olds and 80% of 50 year olds have disc degeneration.

It turns out that some of these changes are simply a normal part of the aging process.  

40 percent of asymptomatic 40-year-old individuals have an abnormality of a disc on lumbar magnetic resonance imaging (MRI. 

Exercise – most any type of exercise – can reduce your risk of recurring low back pain by between 25 to 40%. – JAMA Internal Medicine Jan2016
